- To increase diversity within MBA’s leadership.
MBA increased diversity within its leadership by over 15 percent in 2006 and has set a goal of increasing the diversity of its leadership by a total of 30 percent by 2007. We seek to reach this goal through the leadership opportunities available on MBA committees and working groups.
- To increase the number of diversity candidates and graduates of MBA’s Education Programs.
MBA offers several programs geared towards increasing diversity in the mortgage industry. Through our Welcome Home and Path to Diversity programs, MBA seeks to provide educational opportunities and scholarships to diverse candidates.
- To increase partnerships with other groups devoted to increasing diversity within the real estate finance industry.
MBA has established partnerships with organizations that share our commitment to diversity. These organizations include: The National Association of Neighborhoods, the Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute .
