The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) is committed to helping families around the country find comfort in their homes when they are at their most vulnerable. To that end, MBA has created the MBA Opens Doors Foundation℠ to sponsor philanthropic activities focused on homeownership and community support.
The last few years have been challenging for many families. We look forward to being able to support some of those families in their time of need. Please join us in this worthy endeavor.
| Our first program will make mortgage payment grants to parents with critically ill or injured children, allowing them to take unpaid leave from work and spend precious time together without jeopardizing their cherished homes.
MBA has begun establishing programs around the country, developing partnerships between local children's hospitals and our member lending institutions. The first program supports families in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
