| Kieran P. Quinn, CMB, is Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). He is Chairman of Column Financial, Credit Suisse's Atlanta-based mortgage lending subsidiary for multifamily, hotel, retail and commercial properties. He also is a managing director of Credit Suisse.
Quinn joined Credit Suisse in November 2000 when the firm merged with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he was President and Chief Executive Officer of its Column Financial subsidiary. Since 1993, Quinn has managed Column Financial, Column Canada and Column Guaranteed, a Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily origination business .
Previously, Quinn served as Vice President at Equitable Real Estate where he had responsibility for mortgage assets. Prior to this, he served for 10 years as Chief Financial Officer of a private development company in Atlanta. He began his career with First National Bank of Chicago in the commercial and real estate lending departments.
Quinn is a governor of the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association (CMSA); a trustee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC); serves on the finance council of the Archdiocese of Atlanta and the Cathedral of Christ the King; and is a trustee of Regis High School in New York City. He received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and his bachelor's degree from Villanova University.
