Meghan Sullivan
Director
State Government Affairs

Meghan Sullivan is Director of State Government Affairs at the Mortgage Bankers Association, where she is responsible for coordinating MBA's advocacy efforts in 25 states, most in the eastern half of the country. As MBA's representative to state governors, legislatures and banking regulators, Sullivan manages the communication of MBA's positions on those issues to policymakers and analyzes state-level legislative regulatory proposals affecting the real estate finance industry.

Sullivan has coordinated numerous lobbying efforts on behalf of the real estate finance industry as well as assisting in the development of public policy on issues such as subprime mortgage lending, loan originator licensing, and foreclosures.

Prior to joining the MBA in 2004, Sullivan served on the staff of US Senator John E. Sununu of New Hampshire. Sullivan received a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
