As announced at the Mortgage Bankers Association’s 93rd Annual Convention on October 23, 2006, Freddie Mac is pleased to introduce
Mortgages for Newly Constructed Homes, a new offering to assist in Gulf Coast rebuilding and help Sellers accommodate for
the uncertainties of new construction and renovation work schedules. Mortgages for Newly Constructed Homes expands on our
existing offerings for newly constructed homes and for renovation financing, which will be retired May 1, 2007.
