Mortgage Bankers Association Holds See a Lender First Day on Capitol Hill

WHAT:

In honor of National Homeownership Month, the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) will host “See a Lender First Day” on Capitol Hill as part of the association’s Congressional Education Series.

Mortgage lenders from leading companies in the Washington, DC area will speak to Congressional staffers about the home buying process, then staffers will be able to sign up for one-on-one meetings with a mortgage lender to discuss their personal financial and homeownership needs.

Members of the media are invited to the opening discussion featuring Kurt Pfotenhauer, MBA’s senior vice president of government affairs; Malcolm Hollensteiner, CMB, National City Mortgage; Frank Donnelly, CMB, SunTrust Mortgage; and Harris Rosenblatt, Fieldstone Mortgage.
