Each workshop will cover both broad issues as well a specific topics that industry professionals address on a daily basis. The workshops are designed to provide practical information that is useful to loan originators and underwriters, loan closers, drafting attorneys and loan servicers.

The first workshop, held on November 4, will be led by Bernie Brown, President of Insurance Advisors and he will be joined by outside expert panelists. Participants will learn about zoning, property non conformance and coverage available in the market for Ordinance/Law. The workshop will also describe when Boiler and Machinery insurance is necessary and how it interfaces with the borrower’s basic commercial property insurance policy. Future workshops will cover insurance terminology issues, insurance certificate review and insurance policy analysis.
