MBA invites feedback from its members on the three draft documents below that, if finalized, would comprise an MBA approach to reform of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). These documents include:
1. MBA Summary of Options for RESPA Reform
2. MBA Options for RESPA Reform
3. A New Good Faith Estimate
4. A Revised HUD-1
A task force comprised of a representative cross-section of MBA members under the leadership of MBA's chairman worked to develop these draft documents.
You may use this site to provide comments on any or all of the documents. MBA will carefully review all feedback received and incorporate it into a final proposal related to RESPA reform.
