Reform of the Financial Services Industry
Can you afford NOT to be part of the conversation? On April 29-30, 2009 the real estate finance industry will convene in Washington, D.C to educate the new administration and the new Congress on issues that matter most to your business and our industry. Your participation is vital, and time is of the essence.
MBA's National Policy Conference 2009 gives you the opportunity to speak directly to lawmakers about the many issues affecting the real estate finance industry. This year's conference will bring together key officials, cabinet members and special guest speakers to address these critical issues. This discussion must include your perspective and business interests in creating the solution.
The administration and Congress will focus on ways to help troubled borrowers, to stabilize the economy, and prevent the recent changes in our industry from recurring. Don't let the new administration and Congress make important decisions without your input.
The voice of our industry must be heard. Register today.

| General Session Wednesday, April 29, 2009 Featured Speaker: Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) U.S. House of Representatives
Since coming to the United States House of Representatives in 2003, Jeb Hensarling has quickly established himself as a national leader. An outspoken advocate for limited government and unlimited freedom, Congressman Hensarling has led efforts to control spending and protect tax relief. His combination of principled conservatism and practical political experience culminated in his election as Chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), a 104-member group of the most conservative Republicans of the U.S. House, for 2007-2008. Hensarling currently serves as the ranking member of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit.
